MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Priyanshu Chatterjee in this exclusive interview with Tellychakkar.com talks about his upcoming web series Barun Rai And The House On The Cliff. The actor speaks about his experience of shooting for the web series, his journey in Bollywood, and the genre he likes to explore more.
How was your experience of shooting for the web series?
It was a wonderful experience shooting for the web series. The climate was also perfectly suited for the show. There were Indian and UK actors together working in the film. The first thing as actors we thought why we don’t do the show in bilingual languages. So everybody agreed to it and then the weather was so cold which suited the web series. So one gets the perfect weather, light, and climate. It really helped the shooting of the show. And all the actors were cooperative. It was a pleasure working with all the actors.
Tell us, about your journey in Bollywood?
There is no struggle or success, it’s a journey and it’s the destination. So I always believe that I should keep getting good works with good people. When you find good people to work with is success according to me. And you find good subjects to work on are actually success to me.
Tell us, as an actor which genre you would like to explore?
For me, there is only one genre. And that genre is entertainment. I sit and the audience's money should be worth watching my performance. How will you do that is entirely director’s choice? But for me, there is only one genre that defines everything. Nothing else works for me, it can come from horror, romance, comedy, or action. I enjoy all forms of acting. I loved being a part of Pinjar, It was a historical film. I enjoy the process where I have to completely change myself into something which I have never experienced. For me, there is only one genre that is entertainment.
