MUMBAI: Ajay Devgn is making his OTT debut with Disney + Hotstar’s upcoming web series Rudra: The Edge of Darkness. The series is talk of the town from the time it was announced by the makers. The series is based on the popular British Television show Luther. It stars Ajay Devgn, Raashi Khanna, and Esha Deol in the lead roles Today, the fans finally got to see the first glimpses and the trailer of the show.

About the trailer
The trailer promises that the series is going to be a roller-coaster ride filled with twists and turns. As we see in the trailer, Ajay Devgn makes his grand entry into the police department with Atul Kulkarni saying that he has made his comeback with a double murder case. Ajay Devgn corrects him and says it was a triple murder case as there was a dog too. Later in the trailer, it was seen Ajay tries to solve a murder case that has major twists and turns. The web series will see some extreme violence and actions by the star cast. As the trailer continues, a glimpse of Esha Deol can be seen who is playing Ajay Devgn’s wife.

Well, The amazing star cast of the show has already grabbed the attention of the audience. With the trailer involving so many actions and dramas, it will be interesting to see how Ajay Devgn's expertise will help to solve the case. While the background music in the trailer definitely gives the viewers goosebumps and keeps them hooked about what next the show will be unveiling.
Rudra: The Edge of Darkness is directed by Rajesh Mapuskar and produced by Sameer Nair of Applause Entertainment. While the release date of the series is yet not revealed in the trailer, the viewers will be able to see it on the OTT platform Disney + Hotstar.
