MUMBAI: Sonu Sood is known to help out people in need of assistance. He recently helped rescue a person from a wreckage in Punjab. He got the person treatment at a hospital.
His philanthropic activities were highlighted during the pandemic when he became extremely proactive in assisting front line workers and the unwell.
He helped migrant workers stranded reach home and batted for students who had exams during the first and second waves.
According to a news report, a person met with an accident in Punjab's Moga district. Around that time, Sonu was travelling through the area and he stopped to offer assistance. Sonu himself rescued the person from the wreckage and took him to the nearest hospital. The victim is out of danger now.
Meanwhile, the actor will be replacing Rannvijay Singh as the host of Roadies.
In a statement, he said that the importance of mental and emotional endurance along with physical strength is what drew him towards hosting the show.
