MUMBAI: Mahii Singh Rajput, who has earlier appeared in a few music videos, is getting an amazing response from the audience. She is getting a lot of love not only for her on screen presence but also for her acting skills. Mahii Singh Rajput is now all set to make her acting debut in the upcoming movie Ardh, which will have Rubina Dilaik in the leading role.

TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak to Mahii Singh Rajput with regard to her journey and her acting inspiration.

She revealed that since childhood, she wanted to become an actress. It was very clear in her mind that she wanted to be part of B-town. Mahii has taken part in dramas and plays. She came from Delhi to Mumbai in 2018 and featured in a few music videos. She is now all set to take her first step towards acting with the movie Ardh, which will have Rubina Dilaik in the leading role.

Talking about her acting inspiration, the actress revealed she does not have any one name in specific. There are different actors who have been giving inspiration to many over time. But if she has to name one persom, it has to be Amitabh Bachchan. He is indeed one of the finest talents we have in the industry, and she just loves the type of cinema he has been doing at this age too.

She said when she decided to come into the acting world, it was quite a challenge for her. She completed her education and did not want to burden her family with expenses. She started her own business in the insurance sector, and with that money, she began to build her acting career.

On the types of characters she looks forward to doing on OTT, Mahii revealed that she is basically looking forward to doing realistic and natural characters on the digital platforms. She is in the industry to live different types of characters on screen.
