Breaking: Krishna Mukherjee to play the female lead in Smita Thackeray's next on Dangal TV

Dangal TV which launched a new show Rang Jaun Tere Rang Mein sometime back and has other shows on air like Crime Alert, Rakshabandhan... Rasal Apne Bhai Ki Dhal, Nath, Sindoor Ki Keemat and Mann Sundar, is gearing up to bring a new show.

According to our sources, Indian social activist and film producer Smita Thackeray is rolling out a new show Dangal TV under her banner Rahul Productions. Mrs Thackeray has bankrolled list of regional, Hindi shows and films over the period of time.

We hear that makers have locked television actress Krishna Mukherjee as the female protagonist of the daily. Krishna is known for her stint in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Naagin 3 and Kuch Toh Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein.

When reached out to Krishna she confirmed being in talks for the project.

Dangal TV is doing quite well in the rural areas and has become No. 4 Channel in India across GECs.
