Abhishek Gupta has been a prominent name in the casting universe, he has been the name behind some of your favourite shows like Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi, Service Wali Bahu, U Me Aur Ghar, Savdhaan India, Ishq Kills, Yeh Hai Aashiqui and more.

In an absolutely intriguing chat with Tellychakkar, Abhishek shared a heartwrenching experience that he experienced recently, as a casting director. He shared, 'Recently, a kid who was barely 16-17 years old called me and He was quite traumatized as he was called to Bombay in search of work a casting director I don't know off had called him. He had even spoken to his parents, revealing that he wants to cast their son in a project and he would pay an amount of 15000 per day to him. Coming from in village the parents thought that this would be a great opportunity for their son to enter the industry as an actor so they decided to send him to Mumbai all alone. Whenever that boy I thought how cruel are people over here that there really put you in such problems, the kid was so afraid, I can't even explain what I experience that day.

While sharing further he said, ' I met him at a restaurant nearby and then while talking to him I decided to contact his parents and talk to them about how their son scammed and they must understand that without any verification they mustn't send their son alone to such a city. I spoke to them and got his tickets booked and sent him back to his village this incident made me realise that a few years ago if I had someone like this to guide me through my life then I would have been at a different level.'

Talking about his bond with Avinesh and Anjali he shared, ' talking about Anjali she was my first choice for the show, I had tried contacting her through Instagram, at first she had denied and we had looked out for options but then I was quite persistent on casting Anjali. Avinesh had happened last minute as he was doing Choti Sarrdaarni when we had approached him. Well, the cast is absolutely amazing. Talking about their bond, I have a great bond with them, both of them are really sweet and down to earth.'
