EXCLUSIVE! Pallavi Pradhan on bagging Woh To Hai Albelaa: I gave an audition on set and I was finalized for the role within a few days, it was a very smooth landing for me

MUMBAI: Star Bharat is all set to roll out a new show Woh To Hai Albelaa. The show is bankrolled by Rajan Shahi's production house Director's Kut Productions.

Woh To Hai Albelaa will mark the reunion of Rajan Shahi and Shaheer Sheikh once again.

The actor-producer duo has previously worked in Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke.

The diehard fans of Shaheer are damn excited to see him back on-screen once again.

Apart from Shaheer, the show also stars Kinshuk Vaidya, Anuj Sachdeva, Hiba Nawab, Pallavi Pradhan, Somesh Agarwal, Rachi Sharma, among others in pivotal roles.

TellyChakkar got in touch with one of the actresses of the show Pallavi who will be seen as Shaheer, Anuj, and Kinshuk's mother.

The actress got candid about her role in the show and much more. 

How excited are you about the show? 

I am back on Star Bharat again. My first successful show was Bahu Humari Rajni Kant aired on Life Ok later, it became Star Bharat and I did a show called Jiji Maa. And now, the third show is also on Star Bharat and it is like a homecoming for me. It is a great feeling on facing the camera after a long time. Especially with a production house like DKP, the character and shooting in the Film City is the most fulfilling emotion. It is like a perfect platter for me right now. 

What were your thoughts when you were offered this role?

It just happened in a day. I was asked for the audition that I had sent from home. And immediately, I got a call from the production house that Rajan sir has called me to meet him. I gave one more audition on set and I was finalized for the role within a few days. It was a very smooth landing for me. 

How is your rapport with Shaheer, Anuj, and Kinshuk?

I have not worked with any of them. But I took up the show, I got call from so many actors from the industry, they told me that Shaheer is a very good actor, especially he is a very good person to work with. I am working with Anuj for the first time so, I haven't shot much with him. But I hope to create a mother and son bond with him. It will be an amazing process. I researched the actors before I started shooting. Kinshuk is Maharashtrian and that's how we connected. 

Woh To Hai Albelaa is all set to hit the small screens from 14th March onwards on Star Bharat at 9 PM.
