MUMBAI: Upcoming movie Sharmaji Namkeen, which is the last feature of the late actor Rishi Kapoor, has been the talk of the town ever since his demise. Subsequently, Paresh Rawal stepped into the shoes of the character and continued the movie. In this upcoming movie, we will see both Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal playing the same character.

About the trailer
The trailer begins with Sharmaji, played by Rishi Kapoor, who is trying to do innovative things after his retirement. He takes an interest in cooking food. As the trailer progresses, Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal in the same character try to deal with family problems and understanding the importance of the family. Definitely, the movie looks very promising and will be high on emotions.

Expectation from the movie
Well, we won't be wrong in saying that it will be a treat to watch the late actor Rishi Kapoor once again on our screens in this character. From the trailer itself the actor has managed to make us laugh and we expect the same from the movie. No doubt we would love to see both Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal in the movie and how they have managed to pull the same character. It will be nice to watch Juhi Chawla after a long gap. The movie looks very relatable and it has all the elements required in a family entertainer. The great music and the BGM throughout the trailer promise that the movie will be high on music.

Written and directed by Hitesh Bhatia, it has Rishi Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Suhail Nayyar, and Isha Talwar, and it is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 31 March, 2022.
