"Although I come from a film family, my father brought me up in such a way that nothing about movies, magazines, industry, awards, fans, or anything related to work was brought home. It was always confined to the office. There was no trace of films for me," he said. He added that even when he was starting off, his father Chiranjeevi never told him how to be or how to act.

After his first film, Ram Charan recalled that he went to his father to ask how he should get better as an actor. "After my first film, when I went to him and asked about how to better myself in acting, he said nothing. He really wanted me to have my own journey," he revealed.

It was then that he started his journey with SS Rajamouli, whom he calls his headmaster or dean.

Slated for a release on March 25, 2022, the film also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in lead roles.
