MUMBAI: Prachi Bansal has replaced Jigyasa Singh as the lead in Thapki Pyar Ki 2. It hasn’t been easy for the actress as well as fans to see this major change in the show. However, with time has come acceptance. Recently, Prachi bared her heart about the trolling she faced replacing Jigyasa Singh and how her co-actors and her director were a big support.

"My journey so far has been very difficult. In fact, I didn’t imagine it to be so tough. Since Thapki season 1 was a big hit, season 2 has also been doing well, but Jigyasa had to leave the show midway, everything happened suddenly and I didn’t get time to register things. Now, I am trolled so heavily for replacing Jigyasa. I really don’t understand one thing that Jigyasa left the show on her own because of her own reasons and I’ve nothing to do with it. So why am I getting trolled? I am giving my best and I hope you all like me," said Prachi.

Talking about her co-stars, Prachi was all praise for them and also shared how her director also helped her, "Everyone on the sets is nice and helpful. They gave me a warm welcome.”

“Whenever I would stammer, I would forget my dialogues to be very honest. But the team and my co-actors and everyone around is very helpful. They are very cooperative and especially my director sir. He has helped me a lot and the credit for my journey goes to him," she concluded.
