Hansal Mehta’s blockbuster webshow, Scam 1992 starring Pratik Gandhi as Harshad Mehta, the scamster, is one of the highest IMDB-rated shows currently scoring 9.6/10. The biographical drama show is based on a financial scam that took place in the year 1992, a systematic fraud committed by Mehta which led to total disruption and a catastrophic collapse of the security systems of the Indian Stock Market.

Pratik Gandhi nailed the role of Harshad Mehta with his outstanding performance with strong one-liners, fearless personality with beginning from rags to riches and and again leading to rags. There could not be a better antagonist than Shreya Dhanwanthar aka Suchita Dalal in the webshow. The Zee5 show launched during the pandemic gained a lot of commendation from the viewers.
Hansal Mehta, the celebrated director has created some phenomenal movies in Hindi cinema including Omerta, Aligarh, Shahid, Chhalaang and many more.

The actor has bagged another show on Netflix titled, ‘For Your Eyes Only’. Gaurav Shukla and Bhavesh Mandala will be the writers of the show while it will produced by Bombay Fables Motion. The director of the show is yet to be finalized.
