MUMBAI : Actor Varunn Jain is presently a part of Star Bharat's popular drama series Tera Mera Saath Rahe.
He is seen portraying the parallel lead alongside actress Sumati Singh in the show.
Varunn is seen playing the character of Chirag Modi in the show while Sumati is seen as Ashi.
The actor replaced Rajkumar Singh who earlier played the role of Chirag Modi in the show.
Well, the viewers are in love with Varunn's performance in Tera Mera Saath Rahe and he has been getting a great response.

Before stepping into acting, what did you do? Did you think about having an alternate career choice?
Before coming into the acting field, I was into the diamond business. I came to Mumbai to learn about diamonds. I was doing my course at Panchratna Opera House. I was learning about diamonds and worked for diamond jewellery. Acting just happened to me. My friend from Delhi wanted me to try my luck in acting. I had no clue about it. When I came to Mumbai, I had no idea about getting into the acting field. Then I started with TV commercials and my diamond work was sidelined. Post doing these commercials, I bagged a show. This is how my acting career started.
How did you bag your first-ever TV show? Do you recollect that moment?
I was going for lunch with a friend. He got a call for a look test. I was there with him and asked him to go and give the look test while I wait for him. He asked to come along and also give the look test. At that time, I was not trying for TV shows but only commercials. He insisted I give a look test. Mrinal Jha and Abhigyan Jha were taking a look test at that time. After my friend gave the look test, I gave mine. They asked me to wait at that very moment. I got finalized by evening. I did not understand what was happening. Unfortunately, my friend did not get finalized. That's how I cracked my first show. I am really grateful to Mrinal and Abhigyan for giving me my first break. After years, I have done a web show with them.
Fans are always curious to know everything about their favourite celebs, especially their personal life. What is your relationship status? What is your idea of love and do you believe in the institution of marriage?
I am completely single right now just waiting for the right person. I have left everything to happen at the right time. I always thought about settling down late. But when I see my parents, I feel like marriage is a beautiful emotion. I feel that I should get married. You will always need someone to be there with you during your good and bad times. I am definitely going to settle down one day. But it's all about time. Let's hope for the best.
