MUMBAI: Shahid Kapoor tied the knot with Mira Rajput in 2015 in a private wedding ceremony in Delhi in the presence of close friends and family members. Their intimate wedding ceremony was followed by a grand reception in Mumbai, where Mira was first introduced to the film fraternity members. Shahid had maintained secrecy around his wedding for a long time as he reportedly didn't wish to reveal his relationship before their formal engagement. The rest, as they say, is history.
Once, Shahid was stuck in a situation when he was asked if he will give up sex or acting. Shahid had visited Karan's show Koffee With Karan, where things are known to get steamy and controversial. Shahid was accompanied by Sonakshi Sinha on the couch. During the rapid-fire round, the show's host Karan bombarded him with some stubborn questions. But Shahid played it cool and answered them all like a pro.
It so happened that Karan asked Shahid during the rapid-fire round what would be easier to give up acting or sex? The actor went numb for a moment and he said, "acting."
Sonakshi was quite surprised to know this answer from Shahid and she said, "Really." Replying to her Shahid said, "Tera kya jawab hoga." (What will be your answer).
Shahid also revealed on the show that his first crush was Raveena Tandon in Tip Tip Barsa Paani. The actor also went on to reveal that the idea that changed his life was 'dancing', as dance and music are a great part of his life.
Meanwhile, Mira and Shahid are blessed with a daughter and a son, named Misha and Zain, respectively. On the work front, Shahid is waiting for the release of Jersey, the Hindi remake of a Telugu film with the same name. Shahid is also shooting for Raj and DK’s project with Vijay Sethupathi and Raashi Khanna. At present, he is working on his next with Ali Abbas Zafar. Mira, on the other hand, is a social media influencer who recently launched her YouTube channel.
