EXCLUSIVE! Aparna Dixit on bagging Woh To Hai Albelaa: I have been wanting to come back to TV with something different and interesting and it just felt like the right thing that I was waiting for

MUMBAI : Aparna Dixit recently made a smashing entry in Star Bharat's show Woh To Hai Albelaa. The actress is portraying the role of Anjali in the show. 

Aparna is paired opposite Shaheer Sheikh who plays the role of Kanha in the drama series. 

The viewers are in love with Aparna's on-screen pairing with Shaheer. 

The actress made a comeback on the small screens after a long time and the viewers are thrilled to see her back in action.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Aparna who spoke about the show, her character and much more.

What made you say yes to this show? 

It is the combination of the production house, Rajan sir's vision and I have always seen his work and appreciated his shows. Woh To Hai Albelaa sounded different to me. The way Rajan sir narrated me the story, it was a win-win situation for me. I have been wanting to come back to TV with something different and interesting. It just felt like the right thing that I was waiting for. 

How is your character relatable to you?

Anjali is very relatable. Firstly, she is a very energetic, bubbly and positive girl. She spreads positivity and love. Anjali is deeply in love with Kanha. But her love is very modern. They are extremely friendly and have been on great terms with Kahna's parents. As a person, I really relate to it. For me, friendship is a very important aspect of love in my life. Other than that, Anjali feels very happy when people around her are happy. Anjali is very like today's girl. She is very friendly with elders but also has a lot of love and respect for them. 

How is your rapport with Shaheer Sheikh? Tell us how did you develop the rapport to create magic on-screen?

I have seen Shaheer's work before this and he is a good actor. My first day was just me and him shooting and he made everything very comfortable. Generally, it takes time to adapt to a new work environment. But it was not the same in my case. He is a very supportive co-actor. I am really looking forward to the journey in the show with him. Since my scenes are shown where there is very friendly chemistry, so, it was just there between us.
