MUMBAI: Sasural Simar Ka 2 started with Gitanjali Devi entrusting Simar Bhardwaj with the task of finding an ideal bride for her grandson. Simar's quest ends when she meets her namesake, Simar Narayan, who dreams of making it big as a singer.
The lead cast includes Avinash Mukherjee, Radhika Muthukumar, Karan Sharma, and Tanya Sharma.
Krutika aka Dhami’s entry has already created a lot of trouble in the lives of Aarav and Simar. Dhami is very adamant to have Aarav in her life as a life partner.

Earlier we see how Reema, Simar and Vivaan join hands to come up with a plan against Dhami.
In the upcoming episode, Simar catches Dhami in the act and changes the glass of milk.
Later, Vivaan reveals to Simar about Dhami’s mental breakdown in college after which the doctor suggests that the only treatment she needs is love and support.
On the other hand, Samar tries to get close to Simar. Right then, Aarav spots them outside the house.
