MUMBAI: After the biggest blockbuster success of Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 2, Hombale Films is all set to start an action thriller, titled as Bagheera. The Muhurat of this upcoming venture was held today on May 20 in Bengaluru. This latest drama will be directed by Dr. Suri and will have Srii Murali as the protagonist.

This script of Bagheera has been written by the filmmaker. The movie will mark the return of the dynamic duo, Ugram star Srii Murali and KGF Director Prashanth Neel.
2014 flick Ugramm, considered to be Srii Murali's comeback movie was also directed by the KGF director, Prashanth Neel. The first look poster for Bagheera, featuring the actor in an angry avatar was unveiled by the makers earlier. It is believed that the Roaring Star Yash will essay a tough cop for this action drama. Nevertheless, the final star cast of the flick is yet to be announced by the team.

Bagheera is expected to be out next year and will be shot in Karnataka and Hyderabad. A big part of the filming will take place in the outskirts of the Bengaluru and Mysore region.
The production house has made some big announcements in the recent past. They have signed Soorarai Pottru maker Sudha Kongara to direct an ambitious project. They are further launching Puneeth Rajkumar's nephew Yuva Rajkumar in another untitled movie which will be directed by Santhosh Anandram.
