Lapataganj Season 2 to witness six year progress in time

As reported in the media, Lapataganj (Garima Productions) is all set to come back on SAB TV with its second season. However, this time around, the show will see six year progress in time. Since six years means a long period of time, the audiences will witness a lot of changes in the show, though the basic elements will remain the same and so will the cast. So, what are the major changes? Firstly, the show will see a six year progress in time where the lead of the show Mukindilal Gupta (Rohitash Gaud) will be seen occupying a higher designation in the post office and instead of his the usual bicycle, will own a motorbike. The village will turn into into a small town and the people there will no more have mud houses but instead will have one and two-storied homes. Mukundi and Indumati’s (Sucheta Khanna) children will grow up. In fact, their son will turn out to be a spoilt brat which will make life difficult for the parents. Basically, the makers of this successful show are leaving no stone unturned to get it back with a bang. And as reported it will replace Hum Aapke Hai In-Laws post IPL. When we contacted Rohitash, he confirmed development and quipped, “I am very happy that the show is making a comeback as the audiences always wanted it to return. And, I am sure that the response will be great as even now when I upload a picture or two of Lapataganj, I get so many likes. I am sure we’d get the numbers.” Shooting of Lapataganj Season 2 will start from 1 May 2013. However, the promos will be shot sometime this week. Keep reading this space for more updates.
