‘Wise talking tree’ on Lapataganj

Lapataganj is one of the most sensible black comedies on television today. And the viewers can only expect something more interesting in the coming episodes of the show. Apparently, there would be a ‘talking tree’ in this situational comedy. “Recently, we are shooting for an episode on a ‘talking tree’. It’s based on a concept by Sharad ji (Joshi). The tree is very wise and symbolises old and learned people. This tree answers all your questions,” says Sucheta Khanna, who plays Indumati in the show. She adds, “The tree is in comparison to my father-in-law on the show. It is basically to show the generation gap. There’s a message attached to it that always listen to the advice of old people as they are very experienced.”
