Hunar Hali joins Ruslaan Mumtaz as the lead in Shakuntalam Telefilms' upcoming show for Sony TV

Hunar Hali, who entertained one and all with her challenging lead role in Colors’ Chhal Sheh Aur Maat will soon be back on the small screen. As per reliable sources, the talented actress has been roped in to play the lead in Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming show, to be produced by Shakuntalam Telefilms. News of the charming lad Ruslaan Mumtaaz being finalized to essay the male lead is already out in the media. We now hear that Hunar has been cast opposite him. As per sources, there are two girls in the show, and the second lead will be played by a newbie.

It’s also reported in the media that seasoned actor Jaya Bhattacharya will stage her comeback to television with a strong role in this show. We tried calling Hunar Hali, but she refused to comment. Sneha Rajani, Business Head, Sony Entertainment Television maintained a ‘No Comment’ stand when we sent her a text message. Our efforts to reach Producer Shyamashis Bhattacharya were also futile. The show is said to be a love story with a difference. The pilot of the show will be shot tomorrow (3 May 2013), post which it will go on floors. This untitled show is scheduled to go on air post IPL. Watch this space for more updates.
