MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor's reality show titled “Lock Upp”, where 17 contestants were locked in jail, played the game, and fought for getting bail to survive, was launched on MX Player and AltBalaji. The audience gave it a thumbs-up.
Kangana Ranaut made her OTT debut on the show as a host. She guided the contestants. The entire concept was a setup in jail.

Karanvir Bohra had his fair share of quarrels inside the 'Lock Upp' show. The situation had quite a few times gotten ugly. But all that is a thing of the past. And this is the point he intended to drive home. The actor believes in positivity and so does his wife Teejay Sidhu.
He and his wife Teejay Sidhu invited the 'Lock Upp' gang to come over and dine with them and spend a few hours chatting as well.
It was the building's party and the couple thought that why not to increase the revelry by asking the 'Lock Upp' gang over. The building residents are apparently quite fond of those who participated in the show.
The 'Lock Upp' inmates intermingled well. Now, for those who are wondering where Munawar Faruqui is, who had some real rough moments with Karanvir, we must tell you that Karanvir had called him up to invite him but Munawar expressed his unavailability to attend as he was in Dubai then. "I would have definitely come if I was in India," he told Karanvir. So much more for positivity!
While Saisha came with boyfriend Akash, Azma came with her sister Kainat. Payal Rohatgi, Sara Khan, Poonam Pandey, Nisha Rawal, and Shivam were seen to be enjoying quite a lot.
Lock Upp was an engaging reality show with all the ingredients that kept the audience glued: a daring celebrity host, compelling tasks, dramatic fights, and an exciting mix of contestants who did anything and everything to survive in the show’s jail.
