Rajji and Neha are one and the same: Neha Bagga

A page from the personal diary of Neha Bagga Hi everyone, this is Neha Bagga aka Rajji from Bani Ishq Da Kalma on Colors, here to brief you something about herself. Born and brought up in Chandigarh, Punjab, I am pursuing my correspondence MBA degree from Punjab University. Though initially, Mumbai was not planned for me, but my destiny had it for me. It is always said that you are at the right position at the right time. I always dreamt of becoming an actor but never thought that it will actually happen in such a big scale and that to on a big platform.

My parents never wanted me to come over to Mumbai, but my passion proved bigger than their wish and they agreed to let me fly to pursue my dreams. I used to quietly go for auditions in Chandigarh hoping that one day I will get noticed and one fine day, the eventually happened. I got a call from Colors, who after seeing some of mine random audition tracks found me as the perfect match for the character. This is how I got Rajji. The role of Rajji is a blessing in disguise for me because the character is exactly similar to my real life, and most importantly the whole cast and crew are Punjabis and the background of the story is also based on Punjabi culture. So I don’t really feel myself away from my house and my grounding. Since my father Kulbir Singh Bagga is a retired military officer, he wanted me to do something entirely on my own and on my own terms. He always used to say that once you stop struggling for something, you will not get to know the hardship it takes in return. He wanted me to explore myself and check out all the good and bad phases. The best moment on the set is when I come out of my character Rajji because the heavy jewellery and the clothes give me a relief. Everybody has helped me grow a lot and learn and imbibe the culture of this industry. Even the seniors had no attitude and have taught me every minute detail. Sorry folks, I have to go out immediately. Hence, would want to take your leave for now but not before promising that I will get back soon with some more interesting story of mine.
