Exclusive! “Thoda Fast Bol Aur Natural Bol”, says Appnapan’s Jay Zaveri while talking about his experience working with Cezanne Khan, his character on the show and more

Mumbai: Sony TV’s new serial Appnapan is all set to entertain the audience with an intriguing storyline. Popular television star Cezanne Khan will be portraying the role of the lead protagonist alongside Rajshree Thakur.

Jay Zaveri stars in Sony TV’s Appnapan- Badalte Rishton Ka Bandhan and the show has started with a promising plot.

In an exclusive chat with Tellychakkar, Shanky aka Jay Zaveri talked about his experience, working with Cezanne Khan, his character on the show and other roles he would like to pursue.

How was your experience working with Cezanne Khan?

To be honest, we shot a very intense scene together, and he managed to make me very comfortable on the set. All the cast was casted before me and I joined late and had my first intense scene with him. He is a superstar and I felt scared and then he made me comfortable about the scene saying, “Thoda fast bol, aur natural bol”. The director wanted me to add more energy and Sir made me very comfortable, he is such a natural.

What other characters would you like to pursue in the future?

Well, I would want to be cast as a negative lead. I think I have those features and before this in Mere Sai, I had a very positive character and also in Ishq Mein Marjawan, I was a grey character which turned positive towards the end. So ya, I think I would want to be cast as a negative character ahead.

Tell us something about your character on the show

This guy is very peppy and it’s a comic relief to the story which is an emotional, family-drama. Shanky masti karta hai, he doesn’t think much, that’s what Shanky is. He is like that friend who doesn’t think much before doing or saying something, he doesn’t read the atmosphere and just is.

Well, we are sure Shanky is soon going to become an audience favourite and his fans will love him. Meanwhile, in the show, we know that Nikhil has returned to India for Barkha’s marriage and the estranged couple, Nikhil and Pallavi will be coming together after years of separation.
