Manish Nagdev of Dulhan fame will now be seen in Hum Ladkiyan , a show that is soon to be launched on Sony. Manish is currently seen in Santaan on Star Plus. A well placed source informed, “Manish Nagdev is playing a lead role of Aalap in Hum Ladkiyan . This is the first time that he will be playing a lead role. He will be paired opposite Tapeshwari who plays the adopted daughter. Incidentally, they were paired opposite each other in Jiya Jale as well. He is the adopted son of his family. His sisters who are the biological daughters of the family keep plotting against him. They are insecure of him as they feel that he will take away their share in the property. He likes to play flute and he expresses all his emotions through the flute.” Manish says, “The character that I am playing is innocent, sober and responsible.” But doesn’t this bechara character sound similar to what he played in Dulhan ? He explains, “There is a difference. Chinu, the character I played in Dulhan was very cute and na?ve. Here I play a mature yet innocent person. In Dulhan , I used to support the family and here I manage the family.” He further says, “I have started shooting and it is a great fun.” Manish has indeed come a long way and we wish him success.
