Further, Vanraj and Leela discuss that Anuj only adopted a child to prevent his family’s wealth so as not to share it with Anupama and Vanraj’s kids.
Vanraj was probably eyeing a share for his children but he will say to Leela that neither he, nor his kids are beggars and don’t need Anuj’s wealth.
