I haven’t watched flower of evil as I wanted to have a fresh take on Duranga, says Drashti Dhami on Duranga

MUMBAI: ZEE5, India's largest home-grown video streaming platform and multilingual storyteller is releasing the Korean adaption of Flower Of Evil named Duranga. The show will stream on ZEE5 from 19th August, 2022 onwards. Directed by Pradeep Sarkar and Aijaz Khan, Duranga is an official adaptation of the Korean show named ‘Flower of Evil’. Helmed by Goldie Behl and Shradha Singh, the romantic thriller will star Gulshan Devaiah and Drashti Dhami as protagonists. 

In a conversation with Drashti Dhami, she expressed that she hasn’t watched the original series as she wanted a fresh take on the show “I haven’t watched the original, I wanted my fresh take on the show that I was doing so I didn’t watch the original.” Further she added, “People should watch the adaptation, which is Duranga cause its more Indianized, its more local and of course it’s going to be fun to watch it cause there’s a lot of drama, thriller and it is a love story. People should watch Duranga, I know there is a lot of content but we’re trying to create something different, and people should watch it for that.” 

When asked her about how would she react if her husband/partner would do something like this, to which she said I would kill him.
