Trishna Vivek is engaged!

Trishna Vivek, who has played significant roles in shows like Ek Packet Umeed on Imagine and Shree on Zee, would now be seen in Sahara One’s forthcoming venture, Shorr... However, the news is she recently got engaged to a doctor. He also happens to be a health adviser to the governor of Maharashtra. The would-be bride confirms, “Yes, I got engaged on June 6. His name is Dr Rahul Joshi and it’s an arranged marriage. I cannot reveal anything more than that for now.” Speaking about her character in Shorr, Trishna plays bhabhi to Snigdha Shrivastav (protagonist of the show). “I play Kaveri, who is Kanku’s bhabhi. You can’t call her character negative but she’s frustrated with the fact that she’s married into a poor family. She lives in a hut where they have to face problems owing to their livelihood,” she says, adding, “Kaveri is angry with Kanku as she never helps her with the household work and spends her day playing with the village kids. And that is the reason she wants Kanku to get married as soon as possible.”
