I want to dedicate the award to my family: Disha Vakani on Winning the Best Actress in a Comic Role (jury) at the Tellys

Disha Vakani
One of the popular actresses on Indian Television, Disha Vakani is an absolute rib-tickler. As amazing as it can get, Disha has become a cult figure now playing Daya in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (SAB TV). Very few cannot laugh when she says her famous lines, “Hey maa mataji.” And this lovely lady is happy on receiving an Award for the Best Actress in a Comic Role (jury) for her role in Taarak at the Twelfth Indian Telly Awards. In a chat with Tellychakkar.com, Disha expresses her feelings on the victory, “It is all because of my family. Throughout my journey, they have supported me a lot. They are the ones who give me strength to work harder.” She continued, “Taarak Mehta is all about team work. So the credit also should go to the entire team of the show. We all are very hard working, so my special thanks to all the people associated with the project. My wishes to producer Asit Modi (Neela Telefilms) for making Taarak so successful. Thank you everyone and keep loving us the same way.” Congrats, Disha!!! Don’t forget to watch the Twelfth Indian Telly Awards on Colors on 25 May at 9pm.
