Mansi is back in action with season 2 of Remote Control and it’s not just the show that’s keeping her busy. The actress makes her film debut with Leelai which means mischief. She has just begun shooting for it in Chennai and is hence scuttling between Chennai and Mumbai. Talking about the movie, Mansi says, “ Leelai is a romantic comedy which is set against the backdrop of an I.T centre. I am playing the role of Malar opposite South Indian actor Shiv Pandit. The movie is produced by Oscar Productions who are like the Yash Raj banner of the South. They have a big movie like Dashavatharam to their credit. The shooting is expected to be completed by October end and it is slated to release by December end or January.” How difficult was it shooting in an alien language? She replies, “I really worked very hard over it. I underwent a training of one and a half month and now I can speak to anyone in Tamil fluently.” The actress who is shooting for both the soap and the movie effectively manages time. She says, “I shoot the last 14 days of a month for Remote Control and first 10 days for the movie.” Mansi who has also hosted Rock The Dhunn is interested in offers which give her a chance to host main-stream shows. But for now Mansi is busy walking the tight rope.
