Tellychakkar recently got in touch with the actress and got to know interesting insights.
After you first read the script, what did you feel as an audience?
“When I first read the script, I was so genuinely interested in knowing what will happen next in this story. I wasn’t just reading it for my character. The first time you read a story, it is actually a story for you. As a story it should work for you and that it did for me. The way the end is written, really hits you hard. I couldn’t get over it for some time. The structure of it all is really great. The way the story starts, then you get into the back stories of everyone, you get to know about their personal lives and then how it all culminates in the end. There are questions answered in the end while some questions are left unanswered. The quality to binge watch a series is there in Hush Hush.”
If you got a chance to play any other character from the show, which one would it be and why?
“I like Zaira’s character for the language and the styling as it is very interesting. Another thing is what happens in the end with Zaira is amazing. I find Zarira’s character very interesting but nobody can play it the way Shahana did. I cannot even attempt it.”
You got to work with such amazing actors in Hush Hush. What would you say were your take away from them?
“There is so much to take away. That is exactly what I want. I want to work with actors and directors who I can learn from. I am not a trained actor, I have learned everything on the job. The privilege you have when you see such great actors perform so closely, when you see their process, it is invaluable. I have learnt something from everybody on this show.”
The series is out and streaming on Amazon Prime. The response has been amazing and gaining a lot of love from the audience.
