The Times are changing and so are the people, their demand for content and quality content and the makers seem to be delivering some good shows off lately, on tv and digital platforms.
These shows are good examples where a person can find solace and comfort within the walls of our own homes and family. Families are not perfect but they stick by.
1.The Great Indian Dysfunctional Family: the show is available on Alt Balaji and is created by Dipika Bajpai. Story of two estranged brothers, heartbreaks and interpersonal conflicts.
2.Anupamaa: Anupama stepped out of a bad marriage to find love, identity and all the while juggling new and old relations, while guiding her family, new and old, into a better direction. The show airs on StarPlus and remains at the top of the charts.
3.Mind The Malhotras: it is as entertaining sit-com, available on Prime Video. Based on the modern day couple – Shefali Malhotra and Rishabh Malhotra. The couple deals with mid-life crisis, seeking therapy in hopes of not getting divorced.
4.The Reunion: the show is available on Youtube and focuses on the dynamic of a broken family. A middle-aged couple, Leela and Madhav are heartbroken when their sons move out to pursue their dreams and things unravel when their mother dies. The reunion brings the family closer.
Aren’t we all saps when it comes to things getting better with families, having happy endings and a new start? These shows promise that and help us make good with our own imperfect families.
