Next time I will work harder and take away the trophy for the Best Lead Actor: Nakuul Mehta

Nakuul Mehta
Smart and handsome Nakuul Mehta is a well-known face. He has featured in a Bollywood flick, Haal-E-Dil, but did not manage to storm the tinsel town with his performance. Now, he is seen in the small screen space with Rajshri Productions’ Pyaar Ka Dard (Star Plus). Nakuul has definitely impressed everyone and has gone to win the Fresh New Face (male) at Twelfth Indian Telly Awards. In a candid chat with Tellychakkar.com he expresses on his victory, “Firstly I am disappointed for not been nominated for the Best Lead Actor category. However, it feels great to get some kind of recognition. I was so pleased when I received the award that I gave my winning speech for almost seven to eight minutes and finally hosts Ram (Kapoor) and Ronit (Roy) had to escort me down stage (laughs). And of course, it called for a celebration so my entire team and I went out for dinner. You won’t believe we carried our trophy to the venue. So with our food there were also trophies on the table. We guys were kind of showing off in front of everyone (laughs).” He continued, “It was a very well designed ceremony and all thanks to Anil Wanvari (Founder of Indian Telly Awards). I would like to thank my producer Sooraj Barjatya for making such a great show. Next time I will work hard and take away the trophy for the best lead actor,” says Nakuul. You are truly a rockstar Nakuul!! Watch Indian Telly Awards tonight on Colors at 9pm.
