MUMBAI: Many celebrities have been contestants on the show. They are given a choreographer to perform with and based on the judge’s points and the audience’s votes; they continue their journey or get eliminated.
The show has had nine successful seasons. The last one was a telecast from 2016 to 2017, and post that, the makers decided to scrap the show owing to low TRPs.
Dance Deewane replaced the show but now, the channel has decided to get the dance reality show back.
The confirmed contestants of the show are Paras Kalnawat, Rubina Dilaik, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Nia Sharma, Niti Taylor, Amruta Khanvilkar, Faisu, and Shilpa Shinde, among others.
The show went on – air on 3rd September and received a positive response from the audience.
The show is judged by Karan Johar, Nora Fatehi and Madhuri Dixit while Maniesh Paul is the host of the show.
We have seen how Amruta who is one of the strongest contestants on the show always gets full 30 marks on the show for almost all her performances and she was the first contestant to get the appreciation token from Madhuri Dixit of Rs. 101.
The audience feel that the show is biased towards her as there are other good contestants also who are performing well but on constant basics, they don’t get 30 out of 30.
Some feel that its fine that she is getting 30/30 but feel that the judges are too liant this time and are not strict with the markings with the contestants.

Shreya Agarwal : To be honest there is no doubt that Amruta is a very strong contestant on the show but back to back weeks she has got 30/ 30 and this is not fare at all as there are other contestants also who deserve that full marks, somewhere I feel that the judges are too partial towards the actress.
Kabir Singh : Rubina, Gashmeer, Gunjan are such brilliant dancers. I am not denying that Amruta isn’t a good dancer, but to be given full marks back to back is something very fishy. I feel this time the judges aren’t strict with the contestants and are easily giving them full marks which is very unfair. I miss the honesty in reality shows.
Pooja Malhotra : Amruta is a good dancer but I disagree with the fact that she should be getting full marks back to back, its very unfair on the other contestants and I feel somewhere the judges are bias towards her the reason is unknown and I am pretty sure that she would be declared as the winner of the show and I have no doubts about it.
Priyanka Bhatt : For the first time I feel a dance reality show is so weak as the judges don’t know how to mark and give points. Somewhere only Amruta is being praised. What about the other good dancers like Nia, Rubina, Gashmeer, Gunjan etc. I don’t see that type of comments coming from them that Amruta gets. I have no doubts about the fact that she would win the show and take the trophy home.
Saurabh Jain : It's high time the judges get strict with the contestants on the show as it's been quite a while where I feel they are very easy on them and easily give them marks. Especially with Amruta who has got 30/ 30 back-to-back which I feel is unfair to the other contestants of the show. There is bias towards her and I have no clue why? She would be declared as the winner for sure.
Well, it seems like the fans are upset with the judges and feel that they are very easy on the contestants.
