Sanjay Dutt's wife & sisters promote Policegiri

The superstar may be incarcerated. But Sanjay Dutt’s family is not going to let his fans feel his absence...at least not when his next film Policegiri releases on 5 July (2013). Apparently Sanjay Dutt’s family has decided to promote the film on behalf of the imprisoned star. Confirming these developments producer T P Aggarwal says, “That’s right. Manyataji would be promoting Policegiri in Sanjay Dutt’s absence. Not only she, but also Sanjay’s sisters. To them it is like taking a message from Sanjay to the public. Even if he is not there to make contact with them his work will keep him connected to his fans until he comes out of prison.” Apparently Mrs Sanjay Dutt would begin promoting Policegiri on behalf of her incarcerated husband from the first week of June after the first trailer is officially released. Says Aggarwal, “We released the trailer on 28 May. That’s when the film’s promotion would start. We’ve made a film that Sanjay’s fans would be proud and happy about. If the film was not worth it, Manyataji and the family wouldn’t agree to carry it across to Sanjay’s fans.”
