MUMBAI : Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Akshaye Khanna starrer Drishyam 2 has turned out to be one of the most successful films/remakes of the year. It was very dicey whether the film will work at the box office or not as remakes were not doing well at the box office this year. However, Drishyam 2 turned out to be a game changer, and one of the positive factors for the film was that the Malayalam version is not available in Hindi anywhere.
The movie in one week has collected Rs. 104.66 crore which is excellent. But now, it will be interesting to see what response the film will get at the box office in its second week. The Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer Bhediya has been released today, so it will become the moviegoers’ first choice for the film.
But, it will be interesting to see whether Drishyam 2 will beat the collection of the below films…
Gangubai Kathiawadi
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi collected Rs. 129.10 crores at the box office. Though it wasn’t a big hit, it did well at the box office.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2
Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu surely got the audiences back to the theatres with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film minted Rs. 185.92 crores at the box office.
The Kashmir Files
Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files took a slow start at the box office, but the movie showed a fantastic jump later and collected Rs. 252.90 crores at the ticket windows.
Brahmastra: Part 1
Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt collected Rs. 257.44 crores at the box office. It is the highest-grossing film in Bollywood to date, and it will be interesting to see if any upcoming film will break this record.
