Shemaroo Entertainment Ltd. is an Indian content creator, aggregator, and distributor, specifically in the media and entertainment industry. It is all set to bring a new show for Shemaroo Umang, titled Razz Mahal, which will star Ridhiema Tiwari, Himanshu Soni, and Neha Hersora.

The show will feature Himanshu Soni and Neha Hersora in a new avatar.

Himanshu Soni is an actor best known for his mythological shows. In 2011, Himanshu made his television debut with the programme Dwarkadheesh - Bhagwan Shree Krishna. Later, he made appearances in series like Radhakrishn, Buddha, Parvarish, and Neeli Chhatri Wale. In Zee TV's Buddha, he played the essential role of Prince Siddharth.

He was last seen in Agar Tum Na Hote and now he will be seen in the new show Raaz Mahal.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor to talk about his new show, expectations, and more.

In this time of business tycoons and shows about love stories, you are coming up with something different. How did you prepare for this role?

If I am being honest, I did not prepare anything as such because somewhere, I was connected with the era that we are living in on the show. I have done characters from the era before, be it role of kings, or princes and whatever the difference between them. Your look defines your character a lot, like Chandralekha is the witch in  this, so her look will showcase that. But the prince in this is very normal and has a very normal attire. So the question that pops up is, how do you convince people that this is the prince. I relate this to the city of Jaipur. When you observe something to play a character, you will to have pick and choose a lot of different nuisances from different places to piece a character together. For this role, I took inspiration from some of my old stuff, modernized certain things and then decided how I want to portray this certain character.

Supernatural shows have been all the rage recently and there have been a fair share of them in the market, how nervous or excited are you to be bringing something new?

The kind of person I am, I live in the present and get happy with that. When I talk about the present, I am happy that I am a part of a fantasy show called Raaz Mahal and that audiences will get to watch some good drama. I am doing a show that I like and I get to be in a normal look and not that of a king’s. In terms of the show, we as a team have worked very hard and I hope that people appreciate that hard work.

The environment and the vibes of the people around us set the tone sometimes and what kind of a vibe or tone have you experienced till now?

I believe that when you are positive and work with a positive attitude, you start to get a vibe and whoever I have shot with till now, we have gotten along really well. The vibes have been positive, be it Sunaina or Chandralekha. I am working with both of them for the first time and have a really good vibe going. Even the crew is very positive and it makes the work better.

Raaz Mahal airs on Sheemaro Umang and stars Ridhiema Tiwari, Himanshu Soni and Neha Hersora.
