Colors and Endemol India will regret having made an offer to Republican Party of India (RPI) president Ramdas Athawale. As reported yesterday, RPI activists have gathered outside Bigg Boss house in Lonavala. Well, it’s not an apology that they seek but RPI is demanding contestant Monica Bedi’s immediate ouster from the Bigg Boss house. Confirming the news, RPI District president (Pune) Suryakant Waghmare says, “We have gathered outside the Bigg Boss house. We just don’t want an apology but we want them (channel) to remove Monica Bedi immediately from the contest. Until our demands aren’t met, we wouldn’t be leaving this place and nor would we let anyone step out from the house.” Adding further, Waghmare says, “We demand that Monica, who we all know had a relationship with an accused in the 1993 Mumbai blast case, be removed from the house immediately. Ganesh Chaturthi is few days away and we don’t want such a person to pollute the atmosphere in Lonavala.” When asked when do they plan to leave, the District President replied, “People from the channel are saying us that they are in discussion with our leader. We would only leave when our leader tells us to.” Officials from the channel remained unavailable for comment.
