MUMBAI : Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing extremely well and is topping the BARC ratings every week. These days, the track of the show is quite interesting as the narrative is focusing on Anupama and Anuj’s life post marriage as they face challenges together and try to maintain a balance between both the families.

Previously, we see that a lot has happened in Anupama and Anuj’s life as Maya makes an entry as Anu’s biological mother and wants her daughter back. Anu knows this and is now torn between two sets of parents.
Maya makes an entrance at the Kapadias and while Anupama understands her pain as a mother, she makes it clear to her that while they are both Anu’s mothers, Maya cannot assert her right to be greater than Anupama’s.
Maya promises that she needs 15 days to win over her daughter, and if that doesn’t happen, she will back down. Similarly, Anupama too promises Maya that if she wins over Anu, she and Anuj will back down.
Now, we had seen how Anuj had asked Ankush to look into Maya’s background and it seems like he has some pivotal information on the same.
During the party, when everyone was dancing in merriment, Ankush later exposed Maya’s background in front of everyone that she used to dance at shady places and she doesn’t reveal Anu’s father’s name, since she doesn’t know it herself.
Maya slaps Ankush after this.
