MUMBAI:Sony Sab’s 'Dhruv Tara' is a romantic drama that revolves around Dhruv and Tara, who are from two different eras. Tara, a princess from the 17th century, travels through time and arrives in the present day, where she meets Dhruv.

At the onset, the show unveils 17th century Princess Tarapriya (played by Riya Sharma) who is a secret Vaidya, her brother Prince Mahaveer (Krishna Bharadwaj), and their father, King Udaybhaan (Yash Tonk). Meanwhile, in the present day, Dhruv (played by Ishaan Dhawan) is seen in Agra near the Taj Mahal when an unidentified dupatta from the 17th century lands on him. It also showcases how Tara’s mother Rani Kanupriya (played by Narayani Shashtri) advises Tara to travel into the 21st century to find a cure for her brother’s illness.

Previously, Tara performs a havan to find Dhruv’s passport. Meanwhile, Ayesha realises that she’s in trouble. Interestingly, Tara stumbles upon Ayesha with Dhruv’s passport.

Later, Nani reads Tara’s letter about taking Dhruv away. Sushila breaks down in tears.

Dhruv's family is shattered as he goes missing. Meanwhile, Tara takes Dhruv to the place where it all started.

Interestingly, Dhruv asks Tara to tell him everything about her. On the other hand, Sushila is plotting to throw Tara out of the house.

Now, Sushila forces Tara out of the house before the girl she’s chose for Dhruv and her family comes over. Later, Tara beats up a man for behaving inappropriately with her. The police show up to arrest her. Later, Sushila tells Dhruv that he can only go to Canada if he gets married.
