OMG! Koffee With Karan to return with a new season; Shah Rukh Khan to be the first guest of the show?

MUMBAI : Koffee with Karan is a Bollywood chat show. The biggies of the industry grace it and interact with the host Karan Johar.

The show has had seven successful seasons, and it is now back with the eighth.

Two years back, the show faced a lot of criticism post the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The public criticized the show, its rapid-fire round, and also blamed the show for bullying the actor.

But, despite that, the show didn’t stop. Initially, it was aired on Star World, but now, it streams on Disney+ Hotstar.

The last season was a huge success with celebrities coming on the couch and bearing their hearts out.

The finale of the episode was super successful as the audience got to watch the gorgeous wives of the Bollywood industry, Gauri Khan, Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Pandey.

As per sources, the show will be returning with a new season and will premiere around September – October, though there is no confirmation on the same.

Shah Rukh Khan might be the first guest on the show. He would be returning after three seasons, if the news is said to be true.

The Pathaan actor was last seen on Season 5, alongside Alia Bhatt, where they had come to promote their upcoming movie Dear Zindagi.

Well, it would be interesting to see SRK on the show, since it would be a very candid interview as the two share a very special bond with each other.
