MUMBAI: Rashmika Mandanna has been a part of many successful films down South like Kirik Party, Geetha Govindam, Sarileru Neekevvaru, Pushpa, and others. In most of her movies, the actress was seen playing the love interest of the male lead and didn’t have a meaty role. However, Rashmika has signed her first woman-centric film.
Today, it has been announced that Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in the lead role in a movie titled Rainbow. The mahurat of the film took place today, and it will star Dev Mohan opposite Rashmika.

Nushrat: Rashmika Mandanna is a good actress, but she hasn’t got a chance to shine. Maybe, with Rainbow, she will start a new phase of her career.
Jeet: Rashmika is a good heroine material, but I doubt she will be able to carry a film on her shoulder. Let’s wait and watch.
Arjun: Today, it’s not about male centric or female centric, it’s about good content. If the story is good and Rashmika gets a chance to perform she will be able to do it.
Praniti: What! Rashmika in a woman centric film? Is that a joke? She should stick to Pushpa type roles, where she has to dance and do nothing.
