MUMBAI:Sony Entertainment Television’s fiction offering 'Sapnon Ki Chhalaang' brings viewers the story of a girl of today who is determined to succeed in her dream company, and she has one simple question to ask – why can’t a girl take her sapnon ki chhalaang to an alien city to accomplish this?
Its protagonist Radhika, essayed by Megha Ray, aims to be an example to many who wish to break such barriers and forge a new path for themselves, as they take a leap of faith to a new city. Being the wind beneath her wings and a big support system to Radhika is her mother, Suman, who will be portrayed by the talented actress, Kashish Duggal.

In the previous episode, after Radhika goes for the interview, it is uncertain whether she will get the job or not but when she comes back home, she surprises her family by declaring that she did get the job.
On being asked about the office location of her newfound job, Radhika blurts out that it is in Mumbai, setting the scene for the calm before the storm.
In the upcoming episode, Radhika tries to convince her parents to let her move to Mumbai for the job opportunity. However, even after Radhika explains the pros and cons of moving, her father isn't ready to let her go to Mumbai, rather insists her on taking up a job in Jhansi only.
In an argument between the two, Radhika asks a question that suspends tension in the air. She makes a subtle allusion to her father's stereotyped thinking by posing a question that whether his disapproval is influenced by the fact that she is a girl.
