MUMBAI:Pooja Hegde is one of the popular names down South and she is now slowly making a mark in Bollywood as well. The actress is gearing up for the release of KisiKa Bhai KisiKi Jaan which stars Salman Khan as the male lead and it is slated to release on Eid this year. The trailer and the songs of the film have grabbed everyone’s attention and Salman’s fans are eagerly looking forward to the movie.
After Kisi ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Pooja Hegde will be seen in SSMB28 which stars Mahesh Babu in the lead role and it is being directed by Trivikram Srinivas. TellyChakkar recently interacted with Pooja and spoke to her about SSMB28 and JGM.
When asked about an update on SSMB28, she said, “We have started work on SSMB 28, Mahesh Babu’s film with Trivikram (Srinivas) sir. You are going to see me in a new light, in a new avatar, and the character is shaping up beautifully. It will be released in January (2024).”
Pooja was also supposed to star in JGM opposite Vijay Deverakonda and when asked about an update on the movie, she told us, “JGM is shelved temporarily until further notice.”
JGM was going to be directed by Puri Jagannadh, but there were reports that after Vijay and Puri’s Liger failed to make a mark at the box office JGM was shelved.
