MUMBAI: Karishma Tanna is one of the most stylish, talented and graceful divas in showbiz and she has been working in the industry for a long time; garnering a huge fan base for herself.

She is soon to be seen in the Netflix show Scoop that will start airing from the 2nd of June and she has been promoting the show around. In a recent interview, the actress got very emotional and revealed an important tidbit from her childhood.
Tanna is undoubtedly skillful and she started working in the industry at the age of 17, with the show Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. During a recent interview, she got emotional and said that when she was born, her father wanted a son and not a daughter.
She added that her mother revealed this to her later and said that her father wanted a son, but then Karishma was born. As this happened, Tanna’s father didn’t see her face for a month and this was a difficult time for the actress’s mother.
Karishma went on to say that listening to this, she was broken and she decided that she will give her parents the life that is expected of a son. She added that she never wanted a typical life for herself and getting married, having children was not her motive. She is now happy with her family and enjoying her life as well.
