History to unfold dramatically in Sony TV's Maharana Pratap

Bharat ka Veer Putra- Maharana Pratap
The recently launched Bharat ka Veer Putra- Maharana Pratap (Contiloe Telefilms) on Sony Entertainment Television has been garnering good reviews with its content and performances. In the upcoming episodes one will witness one of the most striking incidents in history, that of the ritual of Jauhar (where the women of the family kill themselves rather than getting into the hands of the enemies) and the beginning of the war. As per our source, “Soon Maharani Jaivantabai Songara (Rajshree Thakur) will embrace the pyre and choose Jauhar to save her dignity and respect. But the young Maharana Pratap will fight the long practiced pratha to save his mother.” In the coming episodes, one will see the prince being sent away along with his brothers to avoid the war. But determined to protect his mother, Maharana Pratap will jump off a bullock cart and head towards the kingdom where the queens, Jaivantabai, Sajjabai (Divyalakshmi) among other women will be seen preparing for Jauhar. On the other hand, Uday Singh (Shakti Anand) will join hands with Shams Khan, giving all his weapons to keep the safely for war purpose. “Soon, Rana Bahadur Singh (Dakssh Ajit Singh) who trains and mentors Maharana Pratap will also come in the scene and impress the young warrior,” the source informs. Rana, who will come to help Uday in the war, will have a strong relation with Maharana Pratap and their closeness will kick start after Pratap joins Rana’s army. We tried contacting the cast, but they weren’t available to comment due to hectic shooting schedule. Watch this space for more interesting news.
