MUMBAI: 21 year old Bhojpuri singer Babul Bihari also identified as Abhishek raped a minor 2 years back in a Gurgaon hotel. He later shockingly clicked some offensive pictures of her. The cops arrested him after he posted objectionable pictures of her on his social media page.

Babul, who was residing at Gurugram`s Rajiv Nagar 2 years back befriended the 13 year old girl. He reportedly took the minor to a hotel on the pretense of friendship and then raped her in the room and clicked her offensive picture. The victim had not disclosed about the incident to anyone and her parents shockingly came to know about it only a few days back after the singer shared the victim’s picture on his social media page. The picture soon went viral on the internet.
After seeing the picture on the internet, the victim’s parents questioned her about it. That is when she started narrating the entire incident. Her parents then lodged a First Information Report (FIR) at the Sector 14 police station. The complaint has been filed under Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO) and IT Act.

The station house officer of Sector 14 police station, Krishan Kant, stated, “We have arrested the accused. He was produced before a local court and sent to jail.”
