Exciting! Ram Charan and Jr NTR to reprise their roles in RRR sequel

Seems like there is a sequel soon going to take shape. Director Rajamouli’s father and the film’s writer Vijayendra Prasad has given an interesting update on this.

MUMBAI:  RRR was one of the biggest blockbusters of the Indian film industry. It not only gave fans a visual and cinematic masterpiece from none other than the Baahubali genius SS Rajamouli, but also brought pride and accolades to India internationally for winning an Oscar for its song Naatu Naatu. Now there is some fantastic news for fans of RRR and SS Rajamouli.

Seems like there is a sequel soon going to take shape. Director Rajamouli’s father and the film’s writer Vijayendra Prasad has given an interesting update on this. When asked about his next collaboration with Rajamouli he revealed that a sequel to the blockbuster RRR is on the cards. He also mentioned that many Hollywood studios have shown interest in working in being a part of the upcoming project. 

Prasad also mentioned that Rajamouli might not direct the film this time however some international technicians will work on it under the Baahubali director’s supervision.

In an earlier interview, SS Rajamouli said, “RRR sequel happening, initially we dabbled with the idea of part 2, we had some good ideas but never a great one, so we left it at that, then recently about a few weeks back, one great idea stuck we thought we have to make this, at present we are just at the writing stage, so I have to write it then only I can talk about it.”

Rajamouli is currently working on the Mahesh Babu starrer, which is tentatively titled, SSMB29.
