MUMBAI: Anurita Jha has been a part of many movies and OTT series like Gangs of Wasseypur, Helmet, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, Parchhayee, Aashram, and others. The actress was last seen in Asur season 2 which has received a fantastic response at the box office.

TellyChakkar recently interacted with Anurita and spoke to her about the response Asur 2 has released, her experience of working with Barun Sobti, and more...

Asur 2 has received such a fantastic response. Did you expect such a response to the series?

I am very happy that it has done so well. As an actor or as any part of the creative team, we want our work to be watched and appreciated. And we were all waiting for it to come out, as everyone has worked very hard to make what's out there. So, I was hopeful for it to do well.

How was your experience working with Barun Sobti and other team members?

It was a very good experience. I had one action scene, and I was a bit nervous, but he has a lot of ease when it comes to doing action, and that was very encouraging. I also had an amazing experience with other actors; it was fun being the evil one for a change; on set to be clear.

Is Asur season 3 happening?

I wish and I hope.

Asur season 2 was one of the most awaited shows of the year. The fans were waiting for it for the past couple of years, and finally, it premiered on Jio Cinema in June.
