RIP! Malayalam Actor Kailas Nath passes away at 65

MUMBAI: Well known Malayalam actor Kailas Nath who was renowned for his work in movies as well as Television shows, passed away in Kochi at a private hospital. He was 65. As per reports, Kailas was being treated for non-alcoholic liver cirrhosis since the last few months.

Actress Seema G Nair confirmed the news of his demise on her social media page. She shared a picture of the late actor Kailas Nath and captioned it, “Adieu Kailasetta, Popular actor Kailas Nath passed away. Condolences.”

In 2021, Kailas Nath suffered a minor heart attack on the sets of the popular TV show Santhwanam. Later he was diagnosed with non-alcoholic liver cirrhosis and had to undergo a procedure for Liver transplant. Nath made his acting debut with Sangamam in 1999. The film Oru Thalai Ragam gave him immense fame.

Kailas was a part of well known films like Yugapurushan, Etho Oru Swapnam and Thamasoma Jyothirgamaya, among many others.
