MUMBAI : Popular Tamil actor Mohan who was known for his comedy roles, sadly passed away. His body was shockingly found on the streets of Thiruparankundram area of Madurai, Tamil Nadu. He was 60 years old. As per reports, the actor gained immense popularity with Kamal Haasan’s film Apoorva Sagodharargal.

Mohan was reported living a life in poverty and was struggling to find work. After the passing of his wife 10 years ago, Mohan was making ends meet through begging on the streets.
After starring in films like Adhisaya Manithargal and Bala’s Naan Kadavul, Mohan moved to Thiruparangundram as he had lost hopes of getting work as an actor and began begging on the main chariot road. Local people found him dead on the streets on July 31st and reported it to the police. The former actor was in such a bad state that he was unrecognizable. Cops sent his body to the Madurai Government Hospital for post-mortem. Only after investigation, the cops came to know that it was the body of actor Mohan. His death so far has been ruled as natural as he was suffering from ill health.
Mohan’s body will be transported to Salem- his place of birth and after the post mortem, his body will be handed over to his family. The actor reportedly had five sisters and two brothers.
