Lately having done Hindi films like Tees Maar Khan, Gandhi to Hitler, U R My Jaan and Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai among many others, TV and film actor Aman Verma is now focussing on Bengali films. He is making his Bengali film debut with Partho Ghosh's movie Hashi Kannar Iti Kotha.
"I have known Ghosh for a long time. As a matter of fact, when I had come to Mumbai some 13 years ago, we did plan to do something and whenever we met, we used to talk about working together. With this film, I snatched the opportunity to work with the reputed filmmaker," said Aman to Tellychakkar.com.
However, Aman felt that it was tough to shoot in an unknown language. "It was a little difficult to understand the scene. But when you realise what you are shooting, it becomes easier. I understood the gist of it as we were shooting it in Hindi," he averred.
The actor has already been a part of regional cinema with a couple of Punjabi films to his credit and a Bhojpuri film.
Hashi Kannar Iti Kotha will release probably by the end of the year (2013).
